I just finished my last of the old stock of primers and I noticed this on the label.

I know you people keep saying don't buy, but if you don't have a large stock or something that you want to load without the components , you have no choice but to do the research who has the best price and then buy what you need. The "don't buy" strategy only works for you people who have so much stuff you'll never be able to get rid of it the rest of your life.

Or, perhaps, we choose to fight the system and shoot MUCH LESS in order to slightly impact the market. I've cut my shooting EXPONENTIALLY just to make a statement...... (and perhaps I'm a tad LAZY too)....
I pass on a lot of stuff at the grocery store too.... I'm STUBBORN that way. I know it's like peeing into the wind, but somebody has to do it.

Yes to both.

I just bought 4 of the Lee reloader kits and I need to know what primers to use with it. I have 9mm, 357, 38, and 44cal kits. So what size primers do I use for them??

Where can I buy the small pistol primers?? I checked a few on line shops and they are Out of stock??

I don't know if I'm allowed to name names but: Powder Valley, Natchez, Midway, Midsouth, Brownells, and at least 1/2 dozen more. I got 3-4 email adds showing primers for sale today.
Several of the above are running "sales" where they are offering "no hazmat" &/or no shipping in addition to slightly reduced prices. I'm still not buying since prices APPEARsto be coming down (albeit very slightly). I guess we'll see.....

$50 per 1000

I'm no expert but it seems the variations in primer performance have narrowed considerably. I'm not saying one should switch primers w/o the normal load adjustment sequence but it seems less of an issue than in the past. My handgun loads are no where near MAX but testing has proven I can use any of three brands interchangeably and with no real change in performance.

$50 per 1000

I've jumped on that one a couple times in the last year or two. Only primers I have bought in years. In 2019 I got 5K SPP for $140 shipped. Probably won't see that again.

My dad always noted the price and date on all his primers. I just looked through his and this was the cheapest box I saw:

The most expensive ones that I have bought (from around the "turn of the century") have $19.99 price tags for Large Pistol Magnum and $16.99 for Small Pistol.

The coolest thing I saw just now when looking through dad's shelf above the bench was this:

$50 per 1000

I went there and ordered the small pistol primers for $75 shipped to me.
