I have a blued p95pr with a decocker/safety. I got another stainless decocker only slide I'm going to use on the frame instead. I was just wondering if ruger ever sold p95's like that with the new style frame, stainless and decocker only. Mark

I just found a picture of one. Mark

I prefer the "Decockers" as well and have done the same as your going to do. I had to change a part in the frame when I swapped slides. I think it was the trigger link. It won't work without doing so.

I bought a complete p95 minus the frame. I like the decocker only better too. You don't have to worry if the safety is off or on. Mark

The KP95DC is the absolute most awesome of all the P95s.

Seen my first one last weekend.
Stunning.

As much as I love my P95R, I wish it was the decock-only model. I end up just carrying it with the safety off as I don't like safeties that I have to push up, and that one is a stretch for me.

"Decock Only" is the best pistol design that Ruger ever produced. I have DC only versions of both the P95 and P97. They are both keepers!

Too bad Ruger let socialist California and the anti-2nd libs stop the production of them.

I own both and the decock only is the way to go.
There are just too many options on a DA/SA with a safety and decock.
Give me a DA/SA with decock only.

Watch gunbroker. That's where I got my slide and parts. It was probably a gun that the police had so the frame was destroyed but all the parts were stripped off it first. The slide is in xlnt cond. along with the other parts. Here's the kit I got. Mark

That will soon be the only way to have a DC Ruger.

I must tell Ruger my only money spent on Ruger Auto pistols will be DC only or non safety striker fired Rugers.

I carry a gun I want it to go bang the second my finger hits the trigger.

I love my P89 but it is a safety model. Sure I could just leave the safety off but I lead an active life and if I have to use it and the safety gets somehow put on I lose.

I don't like losing.

This is the route I went when converting mine. Paid under $100 for the complete slide, etc. Everything but the frame. Keep looking, there out there and priced right.

decock only is the only way to go on a semi-auto/double action pistol like the p95.... and stainless is great...

I'll never be able to figure out what the powers that be at Ruger were thinking when they quit selling these and limited themselves to a safety... their 'logic' would require they put a safety on all their revolvers in this case.
