Does anyone know how these stack up against each other, or prefer one over the other
I like the looks kmk678gc (slab side) but I do know the mkII gov shoots very well. I have yet to shoot a slab side.

I have shot both and own a slabside, when I tried both models back in
the mid 1990s if memory serves, the slabside had by far the better from
the factory trigger, BY FAR!!! Other specimens of slabsides I've tried just
reinforce that opinion, which is ultimately just an opinion so I'd advise
using your own judgment in the end. Oh yes, both models do shoot very
very well but my great local gunsmith usually has to tweak the government
models a bit on triggers to achieve parity with the slabsides.

Well I guess this is where personnel preference occurs. In the last 3 weeks I picked up 2 Government Targets. And I have 4 Slabsides all different variations. But I found the triggers on my Gov't Targets better than my Slabsides.
