I ordered these walnut grips off of Amazon and I must say the quality is top notch.
I had trouble with the right grip fitting so after careful examination I found a casting bur near the top of the frame.
How did this not get caught by quality control?
I used a Dremel with a cutting disc to flatten out the bur and touched it up with Alumablack. Afterwards the grip panel snapped right in.
These grips have a much tighter fit than the factory grips.
The fit is perfect, no gaps and no overhang. No fitting required on the grips but fitting was required on the Ruger!
The price was $71.52 shipped to my door. Not a bad deal considering what I see on eBay.

Coup d'état...looking good but agree them panels need some finishing color. Hope to see a pic when you're done.
Bisley grip never worked for my hand size (small). And I prefer working on the brass instead of steel. So, this was my solution. A Ruger NM Bisley/KBird in 45 Colt w/Micarta panels.
