I know, I know. This is nothing new. In fact, it's over 50 years old. :)
Honestly, I think I'll always own at least a couple of these timeless classics.

I came across this example a week ago at the Frisco Gun Club. Since pristine examples are getting harder to find every year, I worked out a deal with the seller to make this one mine. It had been fired and not cleaned, afterward. I've since gone through it and its condition is evident. It bears a very faint turn line and shows zero finish loss. No box, etc. Still worth having!

I'd be afraid a gun that old might go off in the woods and injure a deer. Nice .44!

Man! that thing sure is purdy. They speak of the high polished ones, & that surely is one of them.

Come to think of it, I've had an arm load of OM Supers & recollect all of them having a finish that was superior to the rest of the OM's. ??

I sold one and gave one away........... I'm DISGUSTED with myself.

Yours is truly beautiful....... just thinking: do anti-gun people think a gun can be "beautiful ?"....

ENJOY IT FOREVER...

The later 'Old 3 Screw Supers' had a unmatched High Polish especially nice when you find one with parts… turning 'Plum Colored'.
Thanks for sharing.

Steve,
I agree!

I love the plum-colored Rugers! :D
