Jeff Quinn 44spcl information

Trying to find out what these are worth. I got one as a collector piece. Put it up and it’s a beautiful pistol. I’m on a r 1 5 since 2003 Ben around.

Gun looks like it has seen use. Many, including myself, are not impressed with the wood stamping of Quinn. IMO, the gun is worth 30% less than MSRP.

Even as like new, My opinion would be that it's value would be as a regular shooter. Maybe $30 higher if the buyer knows who Mr. Quinn was. I believe there is no value as a rare model since the features of the gun are pretty standard with a different front sight and grip. As those guns are up in value period I would say sell now if you don't want to shoot it. It's more likely to go down in value as the gun shortage eases. That's just my opinion of course. If you sold it to one of his friends for instance, who knows?

It would be a real shame to see that gun in the hands of someone who didn't know about Jeff, one of the greatest YouTube gunners who ever lived. That gun will fetch a good price if you know who to sell it too. That means not to some slob looking for a deal on GunBroker.

I bought it because it was a beautiful pistol I don’t think I cycled it, I’d really like it to go to someone who would appreciate it and I’m not looking to make money on it. If anyone knows a collector that collects and would like it they can contact me and I’d let it go even at a fair price but not for resale.

Just so you know, Ruger didn't even do that for Bill Ruger. (they couldn't wait until he was gone)
That's the respect Jeff had in the circles that really matter. He never got it like the sell outs on the bigger channels who sell more lies and outright b.s. than anything else, but they have the subscribers and it's all about the money.

To the right guy it’s probably held its value if it’s still unfired with all the box, etc. that it came with new.

Many ( most? ) commemoratives don’t increase in value; especially the first several years.

Not sure I’ve seen one sell since they first came out. An auction site like Gun Broker with no reserve and a penny start will tell us for sure.

Do you recommend I post this here on Classified section ? I’ve sold on AR15 before but I’m not sure it’s that cup of tea. I’m wanting to get my original investment out of it. I’ve never put anything on gunbroker. I can go and check it out though. I appreciate the forum.

Why so secretive of the serial number? If anyone is looking to pick one up they'll want to know that.
If you didn't know it about Ruger collectors, a lot of us base our collection on numbers!
FYI, I have number 225, and Jeff was a good friend.

Most people cover serial numbers on weapons not quite sure why. This one is number 368. I did not know Mr Quinn.

I knew Jeff, and kinda wanted one of those guns. But other guns with stronger desires have prevailed.
It's a NICE offering,, and I do hope to see it go to a collector who'd appreciate it.

I just read the info on this gun on the Quinn family's Gunblast site. It's MSRP was $949 in 2021 if that helps your calculations.
