Good catch Mike. I wonder how many equate having 'been' to having 'lived'.

I do believe I stated the difference in post #7

The time living in a country doesn't mean a lot when hanging with the expats. You have to know the locals to know the country.
I have lived and worked with the locals in 9 countries and visited 6 others.
Good Video Thanks

One has not been anywhere until they meet a few people from where they are visiting. Then you can say you have been somewhere!
I've been in a few remote areas on fly in hunts where there was no one to meet. I have many memories of those places and believe that counts as being there.

buckaroo- just out of curiosity, have you “been” to France?

I will volunteer that I have not been to France.

If you have “been” to France, I’m sure many here would love to hear of some of your experiences, while you lived there for
3 years minimum.”

If you have not “been” to France (using your own, above-stated criteria), are you truly qualified to offer an authoritative opinion on France’s status as a “socialist cesspit?”

“Enquiring minds want to know…” :p

Point is you live in a dump socialist commie area to begin with. When I become President your State is one that will be fence off.
It will be used as a penal colony.

So… that’s a “no?” 🙄

Actually, the point is that you appear to be full of wind.

Feel free to “fence away,” as long as it will keep the likes of you out of our beautiful, pastoral countryside!

Good day. 😎
