Yea, I broke down and purchased a new sp-101 with the crimson trace grips, 2+in length. Seen it at Davidson on sale, or at least thats what they are advertising, so I went thru a local dealer and it will be here Tuesday. Traded a nice Berretta Couger for it. I loved the couger however I really needed a smaller carry gun. (old man) you know. Now I need a holster for it and thinking Simple Rugged, in their pancake holster, anyone have a similar situation? I need to catch up on my small ruger collection as this is only the second ruger that I have purchased in two yrs, the last, a ruger Montado, aslo a very nice gun.

I carry my 2 1/4" SP in one of Rob's Simply Rugged pancakes with th inside out straps. It works either IWB or OWB and is very comfortable. I alsu use a Galco with retention snap for OWB that is even higher riding. Lately I've been using one of 511's holster shirts for the little tank and it is VERY comfortable and totally undetectable. I even had a friend come up to me in church today and give me a hug and she never even knew it was there. Excellant for the time of total cover.

Wearing my SP-101 3" in my Simply Rugged Silver Dollar pancake from Rob right now. It is my typical winter carry set up. Absolutely cannot go wrong with this holster.
