Cold and rainy today!

So, how's about some Southwestern Chili (with roasted peppers in adobo sauce) served with sour cream and shredded sharp cheddar, and some cast iron skillet sweet cornbread!

Plenty here, ya'll come on over!

A couple of years ago when I posted my recipe for chili & it had beans in it I thought some of those southern boys were going to lynch me, they screamed & hollered for a week here on the forum, then they quieted down......maybe they tried it with beans!

The argument about beans in chili is about as bad as the one about barbque sauces.
I say "To heck with the arguments, and eat it all!!!!!!!!!!"
I like all forms of chili, and most B-B-Q sauces.

That pot full sure does look mighty tasty.

Pawncop, gather the committee. We've got a revolution on our hands
Actually, I like all kinds of stuff people call chili. but chili con carne is my favorite, but it's usually ALL good on a crisp winter night! Even that White Chicken Chili at Ruby Tuesday, the one some people call white bean soup with chicken
Uh, who's bringing the beer?
Chili peppers, onion and garlic chopped andd cooked down with tomato's and chunks of beef added in a big cast iron pot and cooked real slow.
