Bob - Prayers up from SC. It's a local call. Sounds like you'll be resting for a while. If you'd like a gun, bear hunting, or African hunting book, just PM me your address and I'll hook you up.

So true. I think of my Cancer experience as a journey.Just my 2 cents worth Bob. I had testicular cancer in 1990, half neutered, a few weeks of radiation & 34 years later still all good.
1. Your job is to get well, let other folks do the worrying, stress is really counterproductive. Keep a positive attitude.
2. Keep your sense of humor. I really hate to admit it, but Readers Digest was right. Laughter really is the best medicine.
The first one I had done was when I was 50. Doc found one polyp, non-cnacerous. He said you are now on the 5 year plan. 5 years later, no polyps, so I thought I'd be off the hook. He said you'll be on the 5 year plan the rest of your life. Oh well so be it.Sam Summey, sorry for your loss. When I was age 50 I lost 2 friends to colon cancer. ( Both age 50 ) One I had known since PRE school.
I told my Dr I wanted to be checked. He said no cause no family history or symptoms. I persisted and got one done.
Had 25 polyps and half a dozen or so were PRE-cancerous. Good call …. Thank God.
Just had another 2 years ago and for the first time NO polyps so dont have to return for 7 years.
You have my prayers. Always remember this is not the death sentence that it was years ago! A positive outlook and a fighters state of mind is what WILL get you through this. You got this!!! God bless.I had one of those colonoscopy proceedures yesterday. Not the most pleasant way to spemd the morning. The doctor did find a cancer in the colon and I am to have a catscan done then see a surgeon for treatment.
Now to see what what follows......
For those of a mind to, I solicit your prayers.
