A couple of years ago my local dealer sold a S&W 60 with very similar work. The owner of the gun had lived in Texas and took the gun into Mexico where the work only cost $200. After he moved to Illinois he sold off his gun collection because of a DUI. Illinois had taken his gun rights away.

I wish I had the money for the piece.

They scratch it all up like that and then somehow think it is worth more than a clean gun. Go figger.....

It looks like it was found in a reef of coral. That is one hideous gun. I'm sure that gun would scream if it could!

I like real engraving. That is definitely NOT what I would call engraving. Wonder if you could get the same effect by taping patterns on the gun and sandblasting with big ceramic balls? ick!

That is one "UGLY" Redhawk in this man's opinion! Surprised it went as high as a $250 bid but then "beauty" is in the eye of the beholder!.............................Dick

$250 for a Redhawk is a great deal, no matter how ugly it is!

I like engraving, I own a couple of engraved Rugers and I'm having a single six engraved now, but that is way overdone and doesn't look like engraving.
