Got lots of pigs here. You just have to kill 'em & process 'em yerself. ;)

Texas has an estimated 1.5 million wild hogs. Come on down!

Epags said, "Whine, snivil. etc.....here in So. Cal. regular is over $6/gallon and in some locations near freeways it is over $7 /gallon."

The smart move would be to move, leave escape. I saw the writing on the wall in Californicate back in 1968 and did just that. Best move I ever made. I'd never go back, not for love or money. Stupid I'm not.

We've got around 500,000 as of the last estimate. That's about 1 for every 2 people (including kids) in the State. Over 200,000 wild swine are harvested by hunting or trapping annually, most just getting buried or burned. We ain't gonna BBQ our way out of this.

Texas does have lots of pigs, but they are tough and hunting them can be a challenge.
Texas still allow hunting from helicopters? I've been wanting to do that.
I need to figure out a place to go hunting for hogs. I don't know of any areas right here in MD. Virginia, I believe, has them. If anyone knows an area in VA that they would recommend, I'm all ears.

in this country? I just went to the grocery store, and a part of my purchases was a pound of bacon. It was declared to be on sale at $2.00 off - at $5.99 a pound. What the ? Not just bacon, but the bread we normally buy is $5.49 per loaf. Just two years ago it was easy to find that bread for $2.49/ loaf and bacon for $3.99 a pound. Everything has gone up, but groceries are becoming a rip-off. When all the issues of supply and shipping, etc. are fixed will the price go back down? Ha, ha, ha. And, no, it is not because the pork plant workers got a 40% raise, they did not.
Most packs of bacon are 12 ounces not 16 and the 12 ounces packs are $3.99 to $5.99. .Full pound packs are
$5.99 to $8.99 .I love bacon and keep several packages in the freezer.

Cost of groceries is the same .
It's the dollar your spending that's shrinking!
Looks like someone gets it....Yeah actually, the spending power of today's FRN presently retains only a bit over 2% of it's original buying power. I mean really, no one here really believes that a new pick up truck would actually cost upwards of 60K if we still had real money do they?...

just sayin'.
