Hmmm. Does look nice. I was getting ready to reply that any printer could do that, but I note the detail on that piece, the grain structure in the grip panel and fine lines running laterally from front to rear of cylinder. Might really be a Ruger printing block (course, Ruger didn't do their own printing back then).

Neat item! I have the rubber-gripped flatgate version, thanks to the generousity of one of our members.

I always figured it was for a dealer's newspaper print ad.
