I will have this in my hands late next week, it is a "Friends of the NRA" Old Model Vaquero, with it's .44-40 cylinder, as well as a fitted Bisley .44 Magnum cylinder. It has a 6 1/2" barrel, so it's a little different than most OM Vaqueros. I traded for this revolver, and another that started as a .44 Mag. Bisley, but was fitted with a standard Vaquero gripframe. It has a 5 1/2" barrel. I'm looking forward to getting them both!

I will post pics as soon as I have the revolvers in my hands!

The Old Model nomenclature is not needed. Vaquero means Large Frame. New Vaquero means MidSized Frame.

Yes, the Friends of the NRA Vaquero's are unique with their 6-1/2" barrels. I bought one at the FONRA event and made a great trade with it....for a neat OM Single-Six.... :D
