Installing front site on a 77 Mk II

I would buy the factory front sight assembly from Ruger, Brownells, Midway, Gunparts Corp, etc., and use Acraglas to glue it in place. That is what I did on my 35 Whelen that was missing its original front sight. If not, an NECG assembly is fine as well and Midway, NECG and Brownells sels them too.

I don't know why I didn't think of that. Looks good! And I envy you the Whelen. I'd like to have one.
