Don't buy newer Ruger products, but ran across this 1999 Deluxe Sporter. It is in a 1949-1999 50th Anniversary box with everything it should have.
I'm having trouble finding production numbers and past sales info. Keep turning up 10/22 50th Anniversary posts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's what I thought you were referring to at first.

According to RENE, all 1999 10/22 production was shipped in Ruger's special 50th Anniversary box. So you have the standard Model 1102 Sporter Deluxe.

They did put out a 1949-1999 commemorative Automatic Pistol (model 1394) celebrating 50 years of their first firearm.

Thank you, guess I better keep the box with it. The only difference beside being walnut is the mirror polished bolt.
None of mine are this age or newer, do they all have polished bolts now?

Not sure when it started (2015 maybe), but the newer ones do seemed to be polished and also have "RUGER" etched on the side of them, I know the 2021 USA models do. The 2014 50th Anniversary model is polished and has "50th logo" etched on the side of the bolt.

In general, I don't collect 10/22s produced from 2008 and up myself. I don't recall them having a polished bolt from there on down. I did pickup a 2013 Mannlicher when they came out (I'm a sucker for the Mannlicher walnut stock), but don't recall it having a polished bolt either. I guess I have to go back and take a closer look

I'm bad to over- accessorize. My 1983-84 Sporter has a new magazine release, automatic bolt release and a Ruger 18 1/2" threaded barrel. I hope that I didn't screw it up.
Once, I over did a Colt 70 series gold cup and regretted it to this day.

The 1102 is the regular production Sporter model. There are probably tens of thousands of those.
As to the 1999 50th anniversary box, Ruger put all of their long guns in such boxes (except the shotguns probably), so there would also be spillover of that type box into the year 2000.

Yup, had three traded one for a short bull barreled 22/45, sold one and kept one. 33,000 made never became a collector.

Ruger also put the Red Labels in anniversary boxes that year.
