The price of copper on the metals market is starting to come down some. The manufacturing in some countries is at a lull and the demand is not as great. I have yet to see it reflected in the cartridge brass market. But it may happen.

Seems the more obscure, the more expensive it is. With supply chain issues, etc. I suppose thats to be expected.

I've seen 223 brass priced in the 35 to 40 cents each range BUT many don't have it in stock.

I've got a bunch of 222 Rem MAG and you should look at the prices of THAT!!

I wouldn't use Starline for anything unless it was free despite the opinion of so many people online that never push loads.

I don't load, buy, or shoot .223 REM, only 5.56X45 but loaded ammo is hovering around $.42-.45 so I find fifty cents for empty brass merely a stupid purchase.

The last batch of 5.56X45 brass I purchased to prep in bulk was $70 shipped for 1500 pieces. About 1200 of it was usable. That was back before all the silliness. It was one of the many parts of my prep plan I completed before the SHTF.
