I recently wrote Lipsey's to request a new special production. Ruger has, over the years, built a BH in 30 carbine. They have also built special productions, Buckeye Specials, in 32 H&R and 32/20. My request was for a mid frame in 30 carbine, 327 Federal and 32/20. The response I received was that they had been kicking it around for a while so I guess it's a possibility in the future.

A 3-cylinder convertible would be interesting.

I already have Blackhawks in .30 Carbine and .327 Fed. Combining them and adding .32-20 would be a nice touch as well.

On a mid-frame, I wonder if they would keep it as an 8-shot revolver like the .327, or if they would reduce to 7. I lean to the traditional side of things and wouldn't mind if they kept it at 6. But I'd be good with any of the above.

And as far as shooting .312" bullets through a .308" bore, I have a .32 H&R barrel on a T/C Contender that shoots either bullet diameter without issue.
