Finally found the mount that got this RDS down low on the gun.There just seemed to be so much offset. I love the clean look too. I'll have to fill the screw holes in the barrel.

By offset, do mean how the site sits towards the back of the receiver? The MaddMacs base I used mounted the site right over the ejection port. The mount also has a little shell deflector built in. I do believe yours probably sits a little lower and overall looks cleaner.

I wanted this set up because it sat so far back. I can't help but think it'll make finding a holster easier. I didn't realize there was a deflector built into the type you show, seems like a good idea, even if not needed.
I agree, that's about as neat of a mount as I've seen!
