I Need Help with Value of ruger Old Army

I have a Ruger "Old Army", ser# 140-041XX, 45 cal, that I want to sell, but I know nothing about black powder guns. It is blued, 7 1/2" barrel, adjustable rear sight, it is very good to excellent condition. No box or papers

This gun is part of an estate and I am trying to help the widow sell the gun.
Looking for a fair price ( to the buyer and the seller). I can send pictures by email to interested buyers.

The early sn# is nice, if one is into early sn# guns. That is a late FIRST YEAR GUN (1972)
IMO ~$600- $800. If it had box and paper $1000+
