I need a scope for my 10/22T

I'm confused and bewildered at the range of choices available to me!
I primarily plink and sometimes shoot in our Club's "Fun/Informal" silhouette matches.

I was originally thinking of going with a fixed 4x or 3x-9x variable power scope.

I have looked at Leupold rimfire scopes, Nikon rimfire scopes,
Burris Fullfield II, a Vortex scope and a Sightron scope.

To be honest I couldn't see a difference between them while looking through them.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Computer assisted manufacturing means lots of folks can grind good lenses, so the differences often appear in the internal mechanics.

I've had excellent results with Nikon optics, and one of my favorites for rim-fires is their ProStaff 2x-7x 32mm.

I've got T barreled rife I'm working on and have it narrowed down to a Intensity 3.8-12x44 or the Mueller APV, I was considering a Barska Varmint, but I haven't really gotten any good reports on them. My sporter wears a Simmons 22 mag in 3-9x32 and it is okay.

If you can afford a Leupold, then I'd get one of those.
Last time I checked still made in America and from what I understand, made very well. I think time will show the difference between a good and an okay scope.

I would check Ebay and get an old tasco made in Japan.
A nice 3x9 or even a standard fixed power should do you.
For about $30 shipped.

I don't live in the leupold/Nikon world, and I love the old Tascos.
