I miss Sears and U.S made hand tools.

Help Support Ruger Forum:

I have a set of left handed drill bits but I have never seen a drill bit bend.

I own about $40K (replacement cost) in tools that are stored at work. Facility insurance does not cover them. Adding a rider to my home owner's insurance will almost double the cost of insurance. So I just let it ride like most of us do. In order to cover them, I would have to document every piece, make a list showing retail replacement, and photograph it all.

^^^That's exactly what I'm going through. Who takes pictures of a drawer of wrenches or individual tools? Nearly every size/sty[e of wrench in my shop had multiples--try explaining that to a NERD adjuster who doesn't know a breaker bar from a center punch.

I have pictures but they're not enough to prove what's in them. That would take weeks.

Plus the adjuster is going to explain to you how tools depreciate every year you own them,,,,,,, until they are not worth anything.
Guess they might just quit working after a while.
