I know this is the Ruger forum, but has anyone heard about the new Remmington AR15 style rifle in the.30 cal?

I think he is referring to the new Remington 30 AR round for the AR-15 platform (not the 308win for the AR-10 (R-25) platform). As such, it presents some interesting possibilities in an AR-15 platform and could conceivably be offered in the SR-556 platform.

Apparently a necked down 450 bushmaster, powder capacity about equal to a 30-30 but w/ higher operating pressures - seems like it's getting mixed reviews:
