There are commercials on TV portraying a new weight loss drug for women. They portend to show photos of a woman prior to going on the drug, and the results. The "After" photos are about as vulgar as one can get, while the "Before" photo is on the verge of being sickening.

O.K. so I know where the "power"button is located, but at times I'm not near my remote to turn the views off in time. But why in the world would any company post such photos as advertising? Is there no moral standard anymore?

Morality has always been an individual precept. Governments have tried to legislate it and failed. Until humans have a terrible shock, the morality pendulum won't start back the other way. But throughout man's history morality/ethics have swung back and forth and will likely continue as long as man does. All we can do is maintain our own sense of morality and ethics.

,,oh, oh.... fat shaming......now where is my 'Crispy Creme' calendar at.......:rolleyes:
Maybe Crispy Cream owns Sports Illustrated now? I was just out shopping for a couple 2025 calendars, and of course there was SI calendars in the bin.

Historically, SI models have been anorexically thin. Way too skinny for my taste. But this (coming) year's calendar features several 'plus size' women. Very gross. I find 'average size' women to be the most attractive. And that size covers a pretty large range.
