Shiney's pretty if you're going to a BBQ but I like satin better.

SOOOOOOOO

How do change that shiney finish to a satin finish on my stainless ruger?

If your "shiney" Ruger is a 7-1/2" barreled New Model Super Blackhawk then, perhaps, it's best to leave it as is...... :D

Some of these models are scarce and can command a "few dollars more" from the collectors.

JMHO, and I ain't no New Model expert.....

No sir, it's a old model vaquero but last night I had her out looking her over, pondering on what approach I'd take in brushing her up with that green pad and decided she was too purdy and would just leave her just the way she is.

When ya start think'n guns are to 'purdy' .... time to get rid of it :) as you'll be to afraid to use it, caus' you might scratch it or somethin' ! 'All' guns are meant to be used.... not 'purdy' safe queens :D . So holster that baby and shoot the heck out of it!

There is always flat black spray paint............. :)

I would leave it alone. I like the shiny finish. It allows me to see the sights under the trees where I shoot................. (57 year old eyes you see.....)
