I picked up a brand new Hornady Lock and Load A P for 300 dollars got a shell plate for 357 but need one for 45 acp , plate no. 45. I've looked all over but they are backordered every where I look. Anybody got any idea where I could get one ?

Good luck with that. I have been looking for one and for a number 8 (for 9mm) for months. No joy so far. If you find one, post and let us know.

When I got the press home and opened the box and unpacked it there was a newspaper used for packing that was dated Nov.1,1997 the Grand Island Independent . Ihad to clean the press of cosmoline or whatever it was packed in . The press sat for two days at the gun show before I bought it .
