I want to get a holster for my MK IV Target so I can carry my toy with me in the field as I run my trap lines. What would you folks recommend? I'm thinking a shoulder holster would be the best choice, by keeping the piece out of my way as I work the traps, but readily accessible should the need arise. A regular, hip holster will certainly work, and I've used one for my MK II's and III's, but they're shorter and lighter than my IV, so it may not hip carry quite as handily. Suggestions?

keep in mind that the holster should have a "sight track" if it has the standard, target "cutback " front blade, they will slice open a leather holster slick as a knife, that front blade is like a can opener.....
same goes for slicing your hand or fingers when cleaning or even "mishandling" out in the field.....
