I am going to take a shot at this. I am going to Assume you are talking about a cheap Heritage, revolver. If so .they are made in Florida. Started some time around 1990. These are made in a couple 22 – 22Mag. Variations. If so it's a fare 22 gun. Not real reliable. But a good plinker. Someone else may know of something else. But to my knowledge. Ruger never made a Heritage model. In the 60s Ruger did make a single shot pistol called the Hawkeye. If semi Auto I would not think its Ruger. Ruger started with the Mark 1 target in 22 in 1951 and Did not make anything in auto but 22s until the mid 80s

Actually, I am meeting a guy on saturday to look at some Winchester memorbilia he is selling from a collection, he mentioned having some Martini rifles, and heritage model rugers, which he said were limited issue. I can't find anything on that mdl ruger, so I'll just go see what he has, he may just be misinformed.
