Hi All:

I'm new to the forum and am trying to find out some information (year of manufacture and value) of a Ruger 'Standard Model'. The pistol is in excellent shape and has been fired very little. It has the original box (inner and outer box) and paperwork. The serial number is 11-213xx. If I am reading Ruger's chart on their web site correctly, it says 11-26288 was the first pistol made in 1972, so should I assume mine was made in late 1971?

Any thoughts as to the value? The box is labeled:

Ruger Standard Pistol
.22 Long Rifle Automatic
Catalog No. RST4 4 3/4" Bbl.
Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc.
Southport, Conn. USA

I can see no wear at all, but will call it 98% for arguments sake.

Thanks for any help.

If its been fired at all, it starts at 98%. That sounds like a nice little pistol, I am a big fan of the Ruger rimfire autos and revolvers. With the box and papers, its worth approximately $350, but could bring substantially more if it has any oddities.
