Hawkeye vs. FN Model 70

Love my Ruger handguns, used to own a M77, don't remember why I sold it. I also love my "last of the New Havens" Model 70. Question is, how does the new Hawkeye compare to the new FN Model 70? Yeah, neither is exactly "new". They both look a lot like a 98 Mauser, which is fine with me. Does anyone have some real world experience with either or both?

Both great guns, both will serve you well for years, and years.

For value, the Ruger is a better deal. A little cheaper and comes with rings.
