Has Anyone Tried & Oversized Belt Mountain Base Pin In A 3-Screw Super Blackhawk?

To eliminate the slop between the pin, frame & cylinder. Belt mountain claims the Ruger factory base pins measure .2495", they offer one .2515" & say they require some "fitting". From measuring & looking at how much wiggle I see between the factory pin & the hole in the frame & cylinder, it looks to me like the pin sized .2515" should slide right in. Has anyone else arrived at this same conclusion? PLEASE reply DIRECTLY to: [email protected], if you want to help me.

I'll reply to the OP in an email,, but I also want to share my experience with everyone here.

I have an OM SBH .44 mag that someone had cut the barrel back & reblued it. It's a heck of a shooter. I added a Keith Style #5 oversize base pin to it. Worked w/o any modification. I'd have to go & measure the pin to get the actual diameter,, but it's worked for me.
