Has Anyone Tried Hogue Classic Cowboy Action Wood grips?

Please help me out. I am tempted to try the Pau Ferro grip panels on a Super Blackhawk.

I have two questions:

1. Has anyone tried the Hogue Classic Cowboy wood grips on a New Model Blackhawk or Super Blackhawk?

2. Why is there a disclaimer that they only fit pre 2006 models?

I have not.

For Pre 2006 guns because after that the flattop Blackhawks and new vaqueros have a thinner grip frame with internal lock that requires a cut out on the back side of the grips.

I have only used Hogue wood panels on a Bisley

I wasn't aware that Hogue made the panels for a Super Blackhawk

I have some Hogue cowboy gunfighter grips on some of my Vaqueros. All are new models and have locks. The grips are all walnut and fit very tight. I am always afraid of damaging them when removing them but so far that has not happened. They fit very well for store bought grip panels on my guns. I have small hands and these grips are slim compared to some others I have seen. Close to the size of the black cheese grader grips from the factory. They are perfect for my hand size.
