I went out yesterday,, and it dawned on me that it was his B-Day. He was a good friend to many of us. We don't forget our friends. His birthday sticks with me. Never forgotten!

Carl was a good guy, and he is very much missed. He would always take the time to answer any question I had, and years ago I had quite a few!
Never really knew him and don't really remember him but I am truly grateful for what he created and also for those that keep this creation alive.
Well said. I too didn't know him, but it was very nice of him to put so much energy into this forum.
From what I've heard about his laid back easy going personality, perhaps that's why this forum is similar? And not full of arguments and rude people posting anonymously like on social media elsewhere.
I knew him well and I'm always surprised to hear about his birthday because for some reason, January 10th sticks in my mind as being the day.
