Nice pickup JOHNNY WACKO.

I have a H&R 676 in .22lr I picked up over the winter.

It's a very single-action looking double-action 6 shot .22lr.

I had one of them years back...It shot what 9 shots ???

6 shooter. The 9 series is the 9 shooters, 6 series are 6 shooters. Mine is a convertible and would be convertible if I have the .22 Mag cylinder. Most of the 9 series have the fluted cylinder. I think this one is a little special with the unfluted cylinder, the case-hardened finish, and the integral matching CH ejector rod housing.

I may pick up one of the top-break models like you have at some point in time. Just looking for the right one. I might try a Sportsman in .22 with a vented-rib.

Good post JOHNNY. H&R's are something a little different, a little out of mainstream.

Nice, Johnny. Thanks.

Makes me wonder how many gazillion of the little nickle-plated .32's are lying around in sock drawers and night tables, perhaps totally forgotten.

I have the one that belonged to my great grandfather when he was town marshal (constable?) of his tiny Missouri village. Wish it could talk.

;)
