Gun show finds.......

this past weekend, I was brought two nice ,old boxed 22 Rugers, the Red Eagle is early Feb 1951 first batch of the 3 series of numbers that year.........

.......it is a type VIII , in the #13,000 serial range, my wife already has maybe three of them in the 12,000 and 18,000 range.......soooooo


and the Single Six, boxed with the shipper, first of the 'prefixed' guns, 1969..........

traded into each of them for slightly "newer" models......

Nice finds and one of the reasons to check out gun shows when you can. They can be bust or boon and you never can tell what you may see!

Amen to that Wendy, I did think this was one my wife could use, but she showed me when we got home she already has them in the same serial number range, and her boxes were NICER....here I thought I KNEW her serial numbers,,,, ha ha BUT I was close!! It pays to help folks that collect, at the various shows and then they do come back and brings us stuff.........

well this week they brought me the 1960 22 Magnum marked RSSM and its about brand new, way better than the box.........
