Wow! And I was just about to go buy some new oil...and now I know just what I'll be getting for sure. I've always wondered about the Eezox, but now I have a real good reason to try it out!

Very good!

The Eezox was the clear winner, but I am still kinda impressed by some of the others...WD-40 and CLP still did pretty good all things considered.

wow i know what i am going to use on my gun, but i am impressed with WD40 it ended up 2ed or third very impressive

Good old WD-40 has a lot of effective uses, but I'm not a fan of it for firearms use because the way it dries, becoming tacky and gummy and I have had the same results with Super-Lube. The ubiquitous 3-In-One Oil did very well also.

I figured that Eezox would be the winner as I have seen other tests.

But, the WD-40 continues to impress, surprisingly. As others have written here.

very informative test, would like to see some test on some of that homemade stuff, reds forumula, plan tranny fluid, mobil 1 .....
