Grip frame overload! What grips do I have?

Been reading all the grip frame threads and links, and I'm still not sure what XR3 Factory grips I have.
Black checkered, Silver Eagle, no ramp cuts at the top.
The only thing I have found that they fit would be, a 50th anniversary, New Vaquero.
Do the early OM XR3 grips all have the ramp cuts? The bottom corners look more rounded like in flattops article.
I am not computer literate enough to post pics here, sorry.

I guess what I was trying to say is, the inside tops of the grips, are not cut to fit over the "frame gussets". They are flat up there.

Thanks....guess I can file them a little, and have more fit options.

You will have to futz with the alignment pin hole, too. It's not in quite the same place. Not a show-stopper, however . . . you'll see.

yes, what was said above,,,,,,,,,the newer XR-3 grips ( straight down the back , no flair, and NO notch ,cutout on the top inside ,front edge will fit the Old model XR-3 with a bit of work,,, yes notch the top edge and just slightly elongate the locating pin hole as they did move it ever so slightly, up and over....here is a new pair I put on this Magnum marked Single Six.........
