Send it in for service on the 9mm cylinder - 2 chambers very tight.

Previous owner(s) had glued the grip onto the frame.
Couldn't figure out how to remove it w/o breaking/scratching it.
Didn't mention this to Ruger Service but they went ahead and removed the grip w/o damaging it and return the original grips.
They also put on a new set of grips - all FREE.

They look great to me.
Interesting thing is that the old grip has a black bird w/silver background.
New grip has silver bird w/black background.
Which one is more valuable?

When I bought it, it already had the safety conversion.
Since I have never really shot a non-conversion, I can't tell the difference.
I have a NM and it was smoother but it probably had been worked on.

I did dry fire a Super BlackHawk 44M that didn't have the conversion.
But the trigger seems to have work done on it.
It was the lightest/smoothest trigger pull I have ever encountered.
The local gunshop guy also said that it was the smoothest he had ever seen too.

Hopefully I will be able to tell one of this day when I get my non-conversion.
