GP100 as you can add shims, swap springs, and file the hammer step if need be, all at home, to get the perfect-for-you trigger pull.

That's the reason I like S&W 19/66 and Ruger Security Six. Since Security Six is IMO far superior in strength and durability, for us who who like half lug barrel, along with half lug GP100, these two revolvers are only choices. Yeah, GP100 is new gun, currently in production, but despite, I prefer Security Six. It's out of production for decades, but some fine revolvers are still out there.To me the GP100 is just a much superior gun in almost every respect.
But, I don't like the weight of the full lug 6 inch. If you could find a half-lug GP, that'd be good but I dont think they've made them for years.
