GP100 question

Help Support Ruger Forum:

They are out there and aren't very "rare", maybe worth a $50 premium over a full lug used model. Ruger made a large batch of these a few years back. I had one and foolishly sold it, I replaced it with a blue 6" Sec. Six that is every bit as good as the 6" GP but I do want another 6" half lug GP, the action on the one I sold was like butter....

The box label on mine shows Catalog Number GP 160. GP 100 family I suppose.

Agree , they are out there ... but in my neck of the woods they seem to few and far in between. I purchased mine about a year ago , and to be honest... didn't realize it was a half lug till I got it home . Guess I was too excited just to have found a GP for a good price. Now that I'm actually looking ... I don't see many half lugs.

regards , brushunter

I did the same thing brushunter, didn't realize it was half lug till I got home. I traded into the one I have.

Thanks,
Stephen
