Does Ruger still make he GP 100 44 Spec in 3" barrel? I'm having a hard time coming up with anything. If they do, does anyone have any first hand experience with them as far as accuracy? Thanks

I would like to know what they are making too. I haven't seen a new Ruger steel handgun for a long time.

See their web site for current production models.

They're busy making stuff in higher demand. Light, polymer, semi-auto, etc.

As above, I have the Talo 3" and it hits what I aim at out to 50 yards at least. I didn't buy it to be a target gun, I bought it for Concealed Carry. However I've stayed with my Bulldog for that purpose as the GP100 is just a bit on the 'tank' side for that purpose! As for being made check Ruger's website. Have no idea if any special runs are out there in production either.

I snagged a 3" from the Classifieds here a year or more ago.

I grabbed a full lug 5" off CDNN about 5 years a ago.

Both will remain in my grubby paws until I either pass or pass 80.

Check back in 2041.

Thank you all for the responses. Air-Cooled, I came up with the same answer you did. No! Guess I'm looking for a used, or a new Bulldog. Thanks all.
