Ok!!! We got to Know!!!! Does the serial number have a pre-fix????? The box and paper work will add a $100 to the value, maybe a little more maybe a little less. No prefix on a 357 Mag-9MM convertible Old Model will add a $1000 to the value, and that may be a little low!!!!

RENE states about 500 BKH-34X made and about 1500 BKH-36X made without the digit-prefix serial number. Consider that there were over 3000 Hawkeyes made. 10,000 to 12,000 Lightweights made. 4 to 5 thousand Mahogany Cased Supers, 1500 to 2000 7 1/2 in. .44 Flattops. And 1500 10 in .44 Flattops. Not to mention that there were about 70,000 total Old Model Flattops made. When you look at those numbers, and look at the prices that they bring. I would think a non-prefix Blackhawk Convertible would be worth a very large premium over a digit-prefix Blackhawk, in which many thousand were made. If you are trying to complete a set of 357s, then this one is one tough cookie to find.

it is a prefix gun made in 69. the numbers do match cylanders and box. i paid $400 for it. the 9 cylander looks like it has not been fired. the rest of the pistol is about 95% or better.

like i said it was not displayed with the boxes or paper work. no idea it even had any till i picked it up at my dealer. i don't think they even knew what they had. it was a cosiginment auction at a fire hall.
