I'm at the Huntsville, AL gun show displaying some of my Rugers with ROCS

Not really looking for anything but had this fall into my lap today at the show. Guy came to my display and asked if I bought guns. Showed me a gray box that the end label said MKIII512TA (10131)

Inside was a never fired, still in the plastic bag, all paperwork, fired casing, Altamont grips, red fiber optic front sight, adjustable rear sight, 2 magazines. It is in perfect LNIB condition. Asked him what he was asking for it. He told me a ridiculously low price. I hemmed and hawed for a bit and then took out my wallet and bought it.

I'll take some pictures when I get back home and post them.

(I'm not like some people, I've read the manual and can take a MKIII apart and put it back together with no problems)

Hello-i saw an old post regarding security six 150 grips that said 'the easiest thing to do is get unfinished ones from Ronin."

silverstates&W, I am out of town right now but I'll check when I get back in the shop on Wednesday and let you know what all I have. I the mean time, you could check eBay and GunBroker to see what might be out there.

Had to edit the model of the gun I bought it is 10131 and the fired case is dated 02/23/2010 and the serial number is outside of what is published in the RENE. I'll hqave to contact Chad and lwet him know what I bought for the RENE records.

Very nice acquisition! Yea, I had a MK III, seemed easy enough to take down and put back together. I did sell it away when the SP 101 8rder came out. Eventually acquired a MK IV--III's were long discontinued by then.....Enjoy the like new to you 22......
