Gosh just when I thought I was making ground.....

Well just got the new OGCA Journal.......and my display was absent from the pictures....almost like I wasn't even there :lol: :lol: :lol: 20 displays and 19 pictures......any guesses who was missing :!: :!: :!:

And to think how happy I was when they sent me the original picture they took along with copies of my judges scores.....why I finally even had a few points for "historical significance"......out of 200 points I did manage to get a high of 149 points with a low of 119 points from the 3 high profile judges.....

And to think I was going to "BUY 5 COPIES FOR MY MOTHER" :roll: :roll: :roll:

Well letting me whine here make me fell a little better....but dragging thousands of dollars worth of guns and putting in the 3 days at the show plus the several weekends preparing I still feel a little bummed out.....I did call and got a sorry.....with a promise to add a picture in the next journal 2 month from now...whewww I feel a little better....RR.

Hey Rod, that sure sucks but look at it this way....you will be the Featured Ruger Displayer in the next OGCA Journal....that will help our cause!!
It is a fantastic display of Light Weights and considering the Judges those are great scores....look out Tulsa!!

I had the same thing happen from a Tulsa display show couple years back. I never got the hint neither... :wink: :wink: Not a picture in the RCA journal :shock:

Thanks guys....it is always nice to see a little recognition after all the time and money it takes to do a display......

Though it is rather intimidating to show up at the OGCA with ones insignificant assortment when you see the "CALIBER" of the weaponry others display.....the best part are all the stories I hear about the RUGERs they all owned while growing up :lol: :lol: :lol: kinda like all the guys that ride HARLEYs now admitting they started on a HONDA :wink: :wink: :wink: RR.

I liked 'em too, and I voted for them! I have to say I was almost swayed by the S&W guy and his wife, can you believe they went shooting with the Skeeter gun.
