Drove into town the other day and passed my usual gas station. The price was $5.19. On my way back from town the price was $5.29.

AHHHH yea but check the price of diesel that is what the country runs on.
I have seen it from $1.00 to $1.75 per Gal. more than regular gas. No reason and people wonder why all prices are higher. You can bet fuel oil and Nat gas will go a bunch higher this winter.
Sold SPR oil at a discount due to it containing H2S due to leaching from surrounding gas and will pay a premium for sweet oil. My guess anyway from working and building a Degasification Unit at the SPRs.

Just a thought. State’s predominantly left leaning do not need the gas price to go down as they will vote left no matter what. So why manipulate gas prices down there?

But, hey I am a nut that believes such things can be and are done.

Gas is going to take off again upwards because the price can be blamed on the Hurricane wherever it hits.
Luckily it’s been an unusually “dry”
hurricane season this year.

Diesel is around $4.60 give or take here in DFW. And with a 33 gallon tank it’s painful to fill up.
