Garrett has been working on getting the 250 Hammerhead out in .44 Special for some time, and it's also available in .44 Mag now that the .44 Special load has come to fruition. I think it's pretty cool that this kind of penetration is doable from a 4 3/4" SAA in .44 Special now.

Not really. I load and shoot similar in mine.

Well, the load is listed as producing less than 15,500 psi so it's not exactly a Skeeter load, even though velocities are similar.

Elmer boolit over 8.0 of power pistol will get you within spitting distance of that velocity in standard pressure ranges.

Think you are missing the point. Velocity isn't any thing special, but his cast bullets are.
