Ruger OM Super Blackhawk "Squashed Chicken" Grips. Nice shape with a couple minor marks. First I'll take it posted here gets it.

Are these XR3 or XR3RED? Have the squashed been added? Just a question, I know you will be pissed but are they orginal grips with original nomikers. It is a just question. You present them as original, are they?

These are neither, they are longer and only fit SBHs both standard and Hunter Models.

As Jim stated, they will fit a SBH with the dragoon style grip frame. The grips are all original.

Why are they called "squashed?"

Because the silver birds are somewhat indistinct around their profile and appear (sorry) "squashed" upon close examination.

You will note that they have silver birds and blue/black escutcheons and screw, which is proper for this brief variation that were only in use in the 1972 (+/-) era.

And they ARE nice . . . and would also fit the Ruger brass grip frame.
