Frame Casting

I could kick myself for not doing a more thorough inspection, but I bought a new Blackhawk without noticing the frame issues shown in the photo below. Should I be concerned or is this just a cosmetic issue (it does not seem to have an effect on functioning)?

yessir both correct above, not a part of the final fit & function area and NOT on the outside, but "within", and if you wanted that "finished off, you and I would NEVER be able to affford to buy a Ruger.................
nature of the beast for 'cast parts..........'

Thanks for the reassurance. I have a Vaquero and a Single Six that are flawless, so I should probably feel lucky about getting them. Now I need to go shoot the Blackhawk! :D

Perfectly normal and harmless. if it bugs you, wrap a bit of 400 grit paper around a small flat stick and polish a bit.
