I could not resist. Single six 22 only, Unconverted 6.5 " bbl sn D501xxx. It should make for nice trading material. Gotta go talk to/fondle it. :p hehe greg

Nice find! For those that don't know, the 500000 s/n range was reserved for the fully adjustable rear sight Super Single-Sixes. Greg's gun was a "Factory Serial Number Goof"!

Your "D" Single-Six should have left the factory originally as a convertible with extra .22 Mag. cylinder. A call to the "Records" dept. at Ruger's Newport facility would confirm that.

WOW :!: :!: I would be rubbing some good lotion :wink: on that find & looking at it too 8) man its a good feeling to find a rare one 8) actually any of those early single sixes mess me up :lol: I like to look at shows & find one---- even if I can't buy it -afford it :lol:
