How many here also forget what they have and buy a duplicate? I just did again. Not a firearm, but the Ruger merchandise. Is that a sign? :?

Yeah, a sign of CRS disease. Been there done that.

HAWKEYE#28 would you happen to have the 1989 Ten year Club Gift? I'm looking to identify it and get a picture? I have some sort of dish down on my list, but no one can verify it??

Hank, The 10 year gift for 1989 was a 40 year watch for men and woman. I do know about two variations one had numbers the other had the dots. I think it was the one with the numbers. If someone could chime in if they know for sure.. They never did a dish for that year at all..

Rick, several people have said a dish I was just trying to get my ducks in a row. I think chad15's list also said a dish?? But you may have good news if it was indeed the watches as I have both with and without the dots Men's and Woman's. I'm still looking for a set of 30 year watches though. Hank

Hank, I was racking my head with your request for that dish and I'm in agreement with Rick that there wasn't a dish issued that year. I have a couple different lists and one does have the dish mentioned but I think it's a typo.

I have bought and I'm sure will again buy duplicate items especially memorabilia. I log what I have purchased through out the year during the winter months and sometimes I open a parcel that I forgot I had bought. Merry Christmas all over. :D :D

OK than, I'm changing all my lists and I also agree with the watches. Now what about the 1983 and the 1984 gifts while I have some good minds thinking. While 1982 was the large box of matches and 1985 was the paper weight. let's fill in the blank!! Also put me in the same boat on buying duplicates of memorabilia. Thanks for the help, Hank

1982:
Serving tray by Couroc
Matches red/gold box w/ 10 individual boxes

1983:
Ski Hat yellow/red
Dbl Deck playing cards cover black/red
Dbl Deck playing cards cover red/black (Rare)
Pine tree casting key chain 63-83

The cards can be seen at link below from Puyallup RCA Show.

1984:
Zippo Knife in black plastic box
Zippo kive in Anson Box

1985:
Zippo kife/nail file
Coasters set of 6 in white box
Paper weight
25th Anniversary 44 Carbine medal in brown/gold box by Medallic Art Co.

Hope this helps and if I left something out let me know. Also, I only listed the more common items for these years.

Do we know exactly what the ten year Club gift was?? I do have all of the items. On the 1984 I was thinking that the knife in the anson box was the 10 year Club item as there seems to be fewer of those. 1983?

I keep my list updated,, and in a notebook in my desk drawer. I have several lists of things in that notebook,,so I can keep from buying duplicates and to buy the things I don't already have.
This thread is good as I have a list of items and I too have a dish & watches. So,, now I get to "update" my list!
Ok, as I understand it,, the 10 yr club gifts were the watches,, and a pewter shot cup was the employee gift in 1989. And the 1983 & 1984 10 yr club gifts are still a mystery to me as I have the items listed above as regular employee gifts,, not the 10 yr club ones.

Contender, the 10 Year Gift for 1989 Was the mens and womans watches. There were two different sets made that year, and I guess we all agree it was the one with the dots for numbers. Yes, still trying to agree on the 1983 and 1984.

I think the later responses cover the question. I am not in the level of detail you fellows are.......... :)

I got it on the 1989 ten year gift,, but one post above was listing the Christmas gifts,, not the 10 yr club ones. I too don't know what the 1983 & 1984 ones are either.
Anybody,,,,?????

Duplicates doesn't everyone own at least two of everything Ruger made especially the flat tops, Hawkeyes, flat gates, tri colors, plum frames and ivory stocks?
